Responding to our beloved customer's feedback, we're happy to introduce a feature to simplify tracking accounting documents on its platforms: the ability to customize your book entries numbers!

Why customize your book entries numbers?

Every accounting entry creates a unique, automatically generated identifier, making each document traceable.

However, several organizations find it challenging to match their internal numbering with these identifiers. This update addresses this issue.

Where to activate the custom book entries numbers?

Go to Settings > Accounting and find the option under "Advanced Settings" at the bottom of the page.

Switch the toggle to enable it.

Once enabled, custom numbering is available during entry, but not mandatory.

Where to customize the book entries numbers?

Custom numbering can be done in three places:

On the simplified expense and income entry interface

Go to Accounting > Book Entry → Book a new expenditure / revenue.

Indicate the custom number in the dedicated field of the Operation section.

On the advanced entry interface

Go to Accounting > Book Entry, and find the advanced operation you want to create at the bottom of the page.

Indicate the custom number in the dedicated field of the entry page.

On the accounting operation editing windows

Once an accounting entry has been created - either by you, or automatically following a form entry - you can edit it.

If you have activated the custom book entry number option, you can indicate the personalized number on the document edition page.

Where to find the custom numbers?

You can find them:

• In Accounting > Accounting Documents, across various tabs and in exports

• In Accounting > Search, as a new column and a field in advanced search
