Better manage the link between a contact and their groups or chapters

Describing the management of simple and advanced groups as a "major project" is quite an understatement.

But we are tackling it with determination in 2024! 💪

So to start, here are 3 updates that should make your life easier.

Distinguishing Between Simple and Advanced Group Affiliations on profiles

In the "General" tab of a contact's profile, until now, you had a section "Group affiliation", which indiscriminately mixed all groups together.

Now, this small section clearly displays:

• Affiliation to advanced groups or chapters,

• Affiliation to simple groups.

Easily Removing a Contact from an Advanced Group

From the "General" tab of a contact's profile, it is now possible to directly remove a contact from an advanced group by simply clicking the cross next to the group's name.

Removing a contact from an advanced group will also remove the contact from all groups - both advanced and simple - that are linked to this advanced group.

A pop-up will ask for your confirmation to prevent accidental deletions.

Easily adding a contact to a group from their profile

Great news: you can now add a contact to a group with a single click, directly from their profile card.

• Click on the "Add to group" button, a dialog window opens.

• Search for the group by typing its name, select it from the proposed groups.

• Confirm.

Reload the page to display the new group to which the contact belongs.

👉 Note:

• You can add people to both simple and advanced groups.

• It is not possible to add the contact to a dynamic group. Indeed, adding to a dynamic group is automatic based on the contact's information. Therefore, manual adding is not possible, neither from the profile card nor from the community.

These evolutions should save you many clicks, and we are delighted about it! 🙌
